Brownsyne Tucker Edmonds, a faculty investigator at the IU Center for Bioethics, has accepted the positions of vice president and chief health equity officer for IU Health and associate dean for health equity research at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Edmonds will begin her role July 1st , 2021.
In this new role, she will “focus on ensuring equitable levels of care and equal access to care for the diverse patients and communities” served by the health system, IU Health Said.
