IUCB Affiliate Faculty Present In McDonald-Merrill-Ketcham Award Lecture Panel

On Friday, February 21, 2025, the Hall Center for Law and Ethics in conjunction with the IU School of Medicine awarded the McDonald-Merrill-Ketchum Award to Dr. Yolanda T. Becker, MD, FACS, FAST, CTBS, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of LifeGift. Following Dr. Becker's keynote presentation, "Solid Organ Transplants: When Policies, Patients and Politicians Collide", a panel composed of Alexandra Glazier, JD, MPH, IUCB affiliate faculty Lauren Nephew, MD, MSc, MA, and IUCB affiliate faculty Rob Katz, JD, presented on the legal structures of organ transplantation, justice issues in organ transplantation, and the balance of profit, innovation and altruism in organ transplantation.
