Pierce is a Graduate Assistant at the Indiana University Center for Bioethics. He is a student in the Philosophy M.A. program at the IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI.

Pierce received his B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Michigan – Flint with a minor in Mathematics.
