Health Equity and Inclusion at the IU Center for Bioethics
HERE (Health, Equity, Race, and Ethics)
This mini-series by the IU Center for Bioethics features IUCB faculty and outside experts applying an ethics lens to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Speakers explored contemporary topics in health and research using diverse ethical perspectives, including feminist ethics, narrative ethics, human rights frameworks, and other approaches. These talks are meant to be explorations of health equity that can broaden and deepen our understanding of methodology and theory in bioethics, and thus deepen our appreciation for problems and ways forward in equity and diversity.

HEAL-R
The Health Equity Advancing through Learning health systems Research (HEAL-R) Collaborative works to bring equity research to health care delivery.
HEAL-R is a partnership between IU School of Medicine, IU Health’s Office of Health Equity Research and Engagement (HERE), the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI), the Regenstrief Institute and the Irsay Institute at Indiana University Bloomington.

Bioethics and Race
The IU Center for Bioethics is committed to creating an environment that embraces different perspectives and opinions on some of the challenging problems in society. To improve race relations and health outcomes, tough discussions are necessary. The center aims to facilitate these discussions and encourage active participation in ameliorating disparities in our communities.
